Describe the property
Tell the provider whether access covers are visible, whether gates limit equipment and whether landscaping or paving occupies the area. Supply previous records rather than guessing where excavation should occur.
Ask for separate items
Clarify locating, uncovering access, pumping, replacement covers or risers, backfill and surface restoration. Find out what conditions would trigger an additional charge and who must authorize it.
Consider future service
Where appropriate, a properly selected riser may change future access needs. Ask the provider to explain compatibility, secure covers and the finished surface arrangement; easier access must not create an unsafe opening.
